OVI Maps v3.04 Graduates From Beta-New Features Added

Nokia has made the Ovi maps free world widely in Jan 2010, since it they have been improving the Ovi maps in several aspects. Now the Ovi maps graduates form the beta labs with some new features.

In this release Nokia beta labs have concentrated to make the experience better in core areas of usage: faster, better and more personal. Nokia beta labs engineers have optimized the process of acquiring the location and added Wi-Fi positioning in the mix. Now you can locate yourself faster and more precisely, no matter if you are in a mall, on the street surrounded by skyscrapers or driving on an open highway. Wi-Fi positioning is a work in progress and it will get better and better as more people use it.

Most of the people are using the maps in online mode and searching for the places and hence they have added more places and they are expanding the coverage of places every week so you can always find what are you looking for.
