Nokia released a minor update for the Nokia Software Updater as Version 2.4.6. This is a minor update but any update to the software updater is very important as it plays major and important role while updating the mobile firmware. Any small bug in the software updater may cause sivear damage to our mobile. So I recommend you to go for it.
Last time when I tried to update my Nokia 5800, I don’t know the exact reason, but my mobile dead after that I have gone for Nokia care and they updated it for me. But this is a long and irritating process, so update the Nokia software updater before it creates a problem.

Shame you advised to “go for it”.
The software has a bug and craps up the Nokia software.
Perhaps you can write about the failure of Nokia reps to respond to the issue.

you can check it on your mobile by pressign *#0000# and then options and the check for updates. You can also check via Nokia software updater.

check weather it have any updates or not by dialing *#0000# and then options and check for updates, if you find any updates then update via OTA or Nokia software updater.
